We now know that the primate biscuits contains many ingredients that could be potentially dangerous for exotic birds such as animal by products,artificial preservatives,etc. As well they were made for primates(monkeys) not birds. But in the old days not much was known about parrots needs.
The Tropican Parrot biscuits are an 1-2 inch long large biscuit that birds love to hold in their foot while eating. The Hagen Avicultural Research Institute has researched and tested these foods on 100’s of breeding pairs as well weaning babies with great results.
